The Olympic reffing has been complete bullshit, if one person wants to tie up its impossible for the other guy to find any rhythym thats what happened to Andrade who likes to throw those combinations, but that Georgia guy was tying him up everytime he threw a punch.

Well there goes our best medal shot, it's all up to Andrade now, honestly I hope he shakes his nerves, cause he didn't look like a contender in his opener, gotta feel bad for Warren, he got the toughest draw possible for the round of 32.

There was a terrible mess-up by Warren/his corner.. he was only one point down throughout the the last round yet amazingly spent the last 45-60 seconds keeping out of range, throwing no punches

He clearly thought he was in front.

    I'm not sure.

When they took of his gloves he appeared disconsolate and he threw the glove from him in annoyance.

*It is possible they told him he was in front in order to prevent him boxing wildly in the last round and then instructed him to box cobservatively, only to see him defend the lead, before revealing that he had lost!!!

Why would he not throw a punch for 45 secs if he KNEW he was behind though? That is a shocking mistake on the corners behalf, surely?

There were loud chants of USA all the way through. Maybe that confused them into thinking he was in front

I thought he threw the glove off in a "what a fuck up" kind of way.

I'm with you Youngblood. . . badminton was just scintillating yesterday. I'm hooked. I'm on my way to Model's now to buy some shuttlecocks!! I heard you can turn in boxing gloves and get 50% off.

According to Warren (which you will also see during the fight as he looks at the stands several times), he thought the crowd was cheering because he was up on points. His corner was yelling at him to work because he was down. He acknowledges hearing his corner yelling, but said he couldn't tell what they were yelling about. When he went to his corner, they told him he lost and he threw his headgear in disgust. During the post fight interview, he understandably broke into tears. This kid waited 4 years for what? He may as well have gone pro two years ago. He would be a millionaire by now and probably a lot bigger than 112lbs.

Positives: Even with medalling, our Olympic Boxing showing is abysmal at best. I have two young boxers that dream of going to the Olympics. This disaster will most definitely cause the entire program to be revamped so that we don't waste the talent we have. I know that Warren, Russell and Andrade are definitely capable of medalling - but it seems like Warren and Russell are out because of non-boxing related issues. Hopefully, Andrade will come through. I did hear that he was doing a lot of showboating during his bout, so I hope he can stay focused. Scrap the whole program and start over.

If you have a boxer that needs two pts. to win - you can get his attention to let him know? I would have done a backflip (and most likely broken my neck) in the corner. That's unacceptable to me.

Then to make matters worse, I don't even want to mess this up, so here's the direct quote: "For him to lose could be disheartening for some of our other guys. That's going to be our biggest fear. ... I think they're most definitely going to be psyched out. We have a psychologist around, and we're going to make sure that she talks to this team, because I'm sure all of them are going to be psyched out by this." - Dan Campbell

should he have gotten more points then he was given?

The Olympic scoring is a joke honestly and i wouldn't be surprised if he should have won the fight.

Both Warren AND his opponent were shafted on clean punches landed, all in all it's hard to say who got screwed more. Bottom line Warren can't blame anyone except himself for getting on his bike, whether or not he thought he was ahead, it was close.
