    Watch the Olympics right now...

Once the fighter knows they have a comfy lead they are just running... You would be forgiven for thinking that you were watching the track and feild events...

Do you mean the judges? Their scores are collected after each round and given to the official scorer.

If a judge was part of a fixed fight, open scoring wouldn't make a jot of difference. In fact.. it would make it easier. Knowing EXACTLY where a fighter stands during a contest would make it easier to prevent yourself from being detected of any wrongdoing

I'm against open scoring. What I support is a training program to show judges how to score a fight.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

on the contrary, it would make the judge think twice before awarding the 10-9 in favor of his man when he should get otherwise.

when a fighter clearly lose a round and a judge award it to him. there would be an uproar.

It could cause more "home town decisions", because the judge might be more influenced by the crowd if they got to hear the approval/disapproval between rounds.

Exactly. Knowing the score ruins the fight bigtime. Watch the Olympics right now and it's something that clearly should never even be considered.
