In the US that movies is called Harry And The Hendersons. I always wondered why it was called Bigfoot and The Hendersons in the UK when they call him Harry throughout the entire movie.

I guess they were worried if they called it Harry we wouldn't know what it was about so not go and see it.

It's like when the first Harry Potter movie came out, here in the UK it had the correct title, same as the book Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone but they wern't convinced the Americans would know what a philosopher was and so changed it to Sorcerer's Stone.

Not sure who is in charge of these bizarre decisions but it's nice that they assume we are all idiots and that we have to be treated as such
