That's funny. Joe has recently been saying Pavlik hasn't done enough to earn a shot at him; but Calzaghe says he was trying after the Lacy fight to call Pavlik out when Kelly was still a pimple on the face of boxing who had yet to fight Zertuche and who people were paying little attention to.

Like Legion said, he looked to fight Pavlik after Lacy, when Pavlik was no more than an inexperienced prospect. Then After Pavlik becomes a much more experienced, established Champion, he is suddenly not good enough to earn a fight?
