Facebook is gay imo.
I had it for like 2 weeks and everyone that i never wanted to talk to again from highschool came out of the woodwork and wanted to add me so they could pretend they have a lot of friends. If they were my friend im sure i would have seen them a few times in the last 10 years..lol.
Its just too fake imo. Its more about how many "friends" you can have added to your account than anything else, and i think getting sent fake drinks and shit is just retarded.
This also goes for myspace, although i can see how it could be usefull if you have a band or something.
Just my opinion, i know a lot of people that like it.
Yes, I notice some people have A SHITLOAD MORE FRIENDS on facebook than they do on myspace, even though they're logged onto myspace more than they are facebook.
I use myspace and facebook to keep in touch with people who are far away (beats racking up a phone bill). Also to view pictures of pretty girls (as LEGION forgot to mention).

I suppose like most anything, it isn't so much the system...but how you use it.
Facebook works fine. Anyone complaining about having a bunch of phony friends, only have them there because they accepted them. It isn't rocket science, you get an invitation from a person for an add, you can say no. Or ask who the hell they are and then decide.
The interface IS easier to use, no scripting. The functions that exist on Facebook are no different then the trillion of them on myspace. Again, how hard is it to disable these functions if you don't want them? You click a button. Poof, they are gone and never to be seen again.
I swear to fook people just like to complain for the sake of it. I guess just complained about people complaining too much...ha o well...go get fooked anyway.![]()

When you tag yourself in the photo it automatically goes into the "photo's of me" section. But yeah facebook is way easier and am sick of all the shit on myspace, when people hack into accounts etc.
I don't bother with all that 'getting sent drinks, marrying off people, and being in a mob'. (Did you see that video of the facebook anthem "I'm getting bored with facebook" I posted not long ago? That video pretty much sums it up).
As for myspace, I think so it was originally a place for bands only, and it just kind of evolved into a 'peoples' website.![]()
