I've got two of the fights. The first fight is one of my most vivid memories of boxing. I was over the moon when Harding won that fight. What a tough effort.

Are these fights on youtube or somewhere that someone can direct me to see them?
Jeff Harding is an under appreciated champ, especially in his home country. Us australians dont have that many boxing champs, yet this gutsy rugged man gets no recognition at all. Big shame in that.
This trilogy was an exibition in mutualy given and recieved brutality.I know many have already seen these but I can not resist running off at the mouth when a great trilogy is the subjectand for those who did not, here's a brief recap Lol. The first was awesome.Hardings consistent hard body work paved the way I believe as well as his huge tonage of heart and endurance. As early as the 1st round he was cut and Andries was bringing a high workrate. In the 3rd Hardings nose was bloody and for a moment Andries stopped at which time Harding started ripping the body,Andries had effect with some sneaking uppercuts in the 4th and some humongous right hands that Harding walked through. In the 5th,Andries got credit for a cuffing push/KD and in the 6th and 7th Harding started making it rough and tumble for Dennis. For the first time in the fight,Andries was backed to the ropes and his legs went two different directions for a second.Harding was all busted up,Swollen under eyes, nose started bleeding alot into the 11th and both looked rocked but Andries was reeling in the corner at rounds end.And then along came the hellacious 12th and final round.....Andries was wobbled with a jab to start and looked all bad.He went down along the ropes under many shots from Harding and got up with legs locked,Harding was an absolute bloody mess and went in for the TKO which Joe "when I was solid" Cortez stepped in and stopped it.Really a top notch brutal fight.
The second match was good but abit anti climatic. Both started at a faster pace but both seemed more effected when they caught punches.Harding was rocked in the 3rd round but he turned it around and Andries looked tired.Harding was jabbing with effect and when It appeared Dennis was there to be tuned up....Andries comes out and starts unloading heavy leather. He caught Harding with some rights and spun him.....then Andries threw a haymaker and chopping right club, umm, Hand and it sent Harding down on his back.Very odd,He layed there with his left leg off the canvas...looked to his corner and gave them the "Im ok" face,He started getting up and Mercante reached 10 with him half way up.
The third was on Andries turf.He came out reved up and pressured going all out after Harding, landing some nice hooks. In the 2nd Harding landed some nice jabs and they exchanged some body shots. These two just took turns landing....andries with hard hooks and some wide rights and Harding with solid acculating body shots and short uppercuts inside. This on was more thought out and not so wild as previous two.Hardings jab was coming out in the middle rounds as Andries was winging em.Harding was just busier down the stretch and had Andries missing wide in spots.Dennis was just all tired in the 11th,both hung on but Andries was swinging wild and looked exhausted while Jeff was boxing more and won a split dec.
Man,I really need to get a social life,Jeezarse...Doing RbR's on 16 year old fights. Now I know how to fill the WNF/FNF void Lol
. Anyway....good solid trilogy.
