I am a massive Athletics fan and have watched very World, Olympic, European and Commonwealth 100m final sice 1986. I have never seen anybody that comes close to Bolt. Carl Lewis, Maurice Green, Linford Christie, Leroy Burrell, Tyson Gay, Justin Gatlin, Asafa Powell, Donocan Bailey, none of these guys are in his league. He would've run sub 9.60 if he hadn't slowed up.

Watched him in his heat of the 200m this afternoon, he jogged alongside olympic champion Shawn Crawford who was pretty much flat out.

I don't think he will break Michael Johnson's world record, but he will soon.

I don't know, seems like a guy who doesn't even need steroids, like a natural talent. Of course I'm not naive enough to discount it entirely.

they aint letting anything out coz they know he is going to do it, and fair play i think when this guy sets his fastest record in 100 and 200 it will be a helllllll of a long time before someone beats it.

The 2nd best time ever is 3 metres behind that (19.65 Frankie Fredericks) I think Bolt can break it, but maybe not after 8 races in 5 days. 19.32 is 9.66 for each 100m (obviously the 2nd 100 is froma running start) an incredible record from Johnson

Bolt did look a bit tired to the end of that race, but the crazy speed was enough to beat it.

I think he can do it under 19:30 in a few years
