I think Katsidis is gonna stop Diaz! You can't walk in all night taking the bombs Katsidis throws without it taking its toll sooner or later!

I'm just having a discussion with myself here....

Diaz is not a potent puncher, he's an accumulative puncher, at best.
Katsidis can punch, he's got power and throws a good number.

Diaz took a lot of punishment from Nate and altrhough cut and hurt didn't go down.
Katsidis took a lot from Casa, but was put down and also cut.

Diaz looked disheartened against Nate, he really seemed to lose hope and gassed toward the end. The fight may have been stopped were it not in Cancun.
Katsidis never gave up the chase despite being outfought and outboxed.

Katsidis always looks 100% twelve round ready.
Diaz looked tired when his best stuff bounced of Nate.

Katsidis was shown to be severely lacking in defence.
Juan as always showed good proficiency on the inside.

I think that Diaz is too good. No disrespect to Michael here but thats my opinion. I think he underestimated Nate and I would expect him to beat him in a rematch!

I'm amazed I had to go back 5 pages to find a thread on this fight! It's this weekend if you guys forgot, get with the program people. Can't wait for this one, gonna be a good action fight. I think Diaz will get a stoppage, and Barrios will knockout Juarez. Barrios has had a freaking major layoff though and could come out looking real rusty. Its been over a year since he fought last. I still think he has the power and will time Juarez jab once the fight wears on and catch him with a overhand right.

Now we can bump this thread since the fight is tomorrow.

I will take Katsidis by Decision be it MD which might mean it will be that close or SD for Kat. No matter what, it is going to be a good scrap.

Kats needs to keep those fuckin hands up. He can't afford any KDs this fight. The Casamayor first round was retarded. I was screaming in my living room throwing beer cans at my flatscreen.

I'll be honest. I like Diaz... I do. But time will tell how much of a warrior he really is. I mean, he's always able to break guys down with his constant, come forward, grinding style... But when he met a guy that wasn't gonna be broken down that way in Campbell he gave up... He hung in there til the end but effectivly gave up once he saw it wasn't working. IMHO a dillegent, decent punching, relentless fighter can beat Diaz and thats exactly what Kats is.

This is as tough a test for Kats as Casa was. Casa was a little older but crafty, cagy and can still crack. Jiaz is young, energetic and relentless.

This fight's gonna be a barn burner!

This one, is a tough call for me.

I like both guys, so I don't want to see either lose, because both of these guys, are going to give us fans, one hell of a fight to watch.

My head says Diaz, but my heart says Kats.

To me, what this will come down to, is whether or not Kats can stay focused, and not get careless. When he fought Casa, he was careless in the early rounds, but then he got his focus going, fought smartly, and pulled ahead in the scores, but for some reason, he lost focus, and it cost him big time.

I don't think Juan is going to have any problems being mentally strong after his loss to Campbell, and I wouldn't be surprised if he puts Kats down at some point.

IF Kats can stay focused, I think he can win this, so I'm praying that he learned his lesson in the Casa fight. So I'm going to go with Kats, by a very close decision.

This is going to be bloody.
This is going to be non-stop action.
And this could be, fight of the year.
    I can't wait!!!

Well I guess everything has already been said, I'm hoping for a Kat KO late. But like Dianne said it's if he can keep focused, I wonder if he is going to box a bit more this fight to prevent being cut so badly. I guess only time will time.
