Hatton vs Malignaggi? Anyone really care about this fight?

I can't seem to get motivated about this fight only because IMO both Hatton and Malignaggi's stock has been dropping due to their piss poor performances as of late. Is anyone else really interested in this fight? I mean these are seen as nothing more than clowns right now, we had Hatton come out wearing a fat man suit and faught like one too. His fight against an old Lazcano was nothing to write home about. BORING is the word. Malignaggi comes out still wearing those rediculous extensions in his hair which caused nothing but laughter and other than that he too stunk up the joint. Can you blame me for not getting excited about this fight? It seems as though they are more entertaining outside of the ring than they are inside of the ring today. Maybe they are in the wrong proffesion or something. Clowns and comedians if what I see.

Did PBF ruin Hatton or was Hatton over rated? Did Cotto ruin Malignaggi or did he too just always suck? I thought there was a little bit of Camacho Sr's style in Malignaggi but I have not seen this style since the Camarena bout. I guess he is a chep imitation, very cheap.

Both camacho and Paulie were trained out of gleasons by billy giles for parts of theyr careers and i think thats where the similarities are..

As for both guys yeah i agree the stock has gone down.. for sure..

But i gotta say paulie is my man.. and im not one of these fickle fans so i keep the faith

Course Malignaggi split with billy giles and went with Mcgirt after the cotto fight.. Which hasnt seemed to do him all that much good..
Only really amazing performance i liked was the cherry fight.. hes a genuine challenge.. so is Ndou dont get me wrong but the styles were always gona be a masterclass on Ndou.. he hasnt as much to offer,
I dont know what it is about these guys going with buddy and it doesnt really seem to work out 80% of the time.. stick with who brought you to the dance i say..

So yeah sure im interested.. I want paulie to take out hatton and spoil his retirement party..

I like Ricky Hatton....I hate his fans with a passion.


That being said Hatton is ripe for the picking. Paulie can take punishment, he's fast, he's crafty, and he has fast (albeit brittle) hands.

Ricky is older, he gets tired in the ring now due to blowing up between fights, he's easier to hit now, he's slower and I don't think he has the power anymore couple that with a sudden change in trainers and.....I think Paulie COASTS to a UD...sorry

I have plenty of reason to dislike the Hatton fans....they fancy themselves as tough as Ricky, they have no class, they have no respect for fighters and therefore using their own rational Ricky deserves no praise for beating who he has beaten and when Ricky doesn't get credit oh those guys are plenty pissed off. They bring nothing good to the sport and every top level fighter has those kinds of fans but the Hatton fans have a MAJORITY of assholes amongst them, I just hope you're not one

I just think Hatton's best days are past him and dropping so much weight and living an unhealthy lifestyle away from boxing will lead to his embarassment vs Malinaggi, I wouldn't be surprised if Paulie hurt him at some point in the fight.

No I'm not one bud, I think Paulie's speed will cause problems and the pace of the fight will hurt Rick (for the first time) he has just lost most of his major weapons........stamina, punch resistance, timing and his power has not been what it was. I think Hatton will lose this one and I hope im BANG wrong on that, but thats my gut feeling.
