What Scary film really scared you shitless?

I watched the Strangers today, the new flick with Liv Tyler.

I was really looking forward to it and for the first 30 minutes it delivered, then it was just awful, really reallly generic and formulaic.

It was a really shit film I thought

Devil's Rejects on the other hand, now that's how to do a great slasher type movie

Oh and it's not really horror more of a comedy but Evil Dead 3 Army of Darkness is one of my favourite films of all time

I never saw Devil's Rejects; but I really liked House of a 1000 Corpses that Rob made.

Devils Rejects was soooo much better, i didn't like House of 1000 Corpses at all but this film was great.

The whole family go on the run after their house with dozens of victims buried in the grounds is discovered by the police.

It's violent and evil and funny too. Highlights include forcing a mum at knife point to make out with her daughter, the clown guy threatening a little kid and some grusome murder and torture scenes.

Actually I think I'll watch it again this week

I remember watching a film years ago as a kid that scared the shite out of me.It came out in the 80s and i think it was called ALLIGATOR.The Alligator lives in the sewage of a city in america(i think)and comes up for lunch every now and again and feeds off Dogs,kids,men and women.

Yep Poltergeist is definetly a shit your pantser... The Creepy preacher that little old woman with the crazy voice and the fukin clown that dissapeared off the chair and choked the kid... That movie still gives me the chills... Scared shitless of that one, wont even watch it as an adult...

also when i was a kid there was loads of talk of evil dead but only 1 lad had seen it, eventually i watched it with me mates in the morning (thinking i would of recovered by night time, I was wrong).

Does anyone remember Amytiville 2 when the brother seduced his sister?

I don't know if this is really wrong but I watched that scene so much I wore the video tape out.

I can still remember it to this day, he's getting her to pose for him on the bed pretending to be a top director, and he tells her she's the most beautiful girl in the world, then gets her to take her nighty off, which she does.

Then he gets out her knickers and she says 'There mine, my panties!' and he says he took them from the drawer, and then proceeds to seduce and fuck her.

Am I the only person who found that massively arousing?

Oh and this is probaby a bit sick to admit to, but the scene in Rosemary's Baby where she gets raped by Satan, I wanked myself into a frenzy over that.

Agreeing with Bilbo here,other then the opening scene I thought 1000 Corpses was mediocre and disapointing,Devil's Rejects stomps though

I remember watching The EYE not so long ago and that was kind of creepy.Some good old jumpy parts throughout the film.The bit were their are talking in the cafe is a scary part.
