Unbelievable really, the guy was pushing 50 by Bloodsport. The actor was more of a body builder than a serious fighter though.
He's a legend Bolo like.He stared in lots of films apart from ENTER THE DRAGON as well as BLOODSPORTS.Yeah he has alot of top muscle but still could move! He's a good at playing BAD if that makes any sense! Thanks !

I remember seeing Bloodsport in the theatre. It's my favorite of the two but far from my favorite.

I think Time Cop and Cyborg are his best films.

The most ridiculous thing he has ever done in a film was in Hard Target when he knocked out a snake.

The only decent movies he made were Double Impact and Cyborg. At least they were seemingly original; well for his movies. Gotta love that lump on his forehead.

remember watching bloodsport & kickboxer 1 and 2 loads of times round me cousins when i was a kid! Didn't they make a kickboxer 3?

I'd say bloodsport is my favourite out the 2.

Good to know you like BLLODSPORTS to mate.I think its his best one.The fight scenes are quality and having Bolo as the bad guy tops it off.I think there is a KICKBOXER 4 as Three.I could be wrong though due to the fact that i lost interest after the first one because i knew Van Damme did'nt star in it.I do know theres Bloodsports 2,3,and 4 but there all shite!.First one is class

I personally think BLOODSPORTS was the best one out of them both, just by a small margin though.I think the fight scenes are great. There's more fighting styles involved in the film and it's based on a fact-based story too.Bolo was the favourate ideal bad guy!I remember being a fan of Van Damme films when i was younger.I used to watch them on the week end with a big bag of popcorn and a large coke when i was about 10year old......Ah there where the days!I watched BLOODSPORTS a couple of months ago on t.v and it brought all of those great memorys back.

    "OK U.S.A!"
Both movies are great. While I like Kickboxer a bit better, Bloodsport has the best soundtrack of the 2.

Kickboxer 2 was good too, but one thing that was kind of a disappointment was where when the guy was going to fight Tong Po (I think that's his name, been awhile since I've seen it), I thought he was going to train for the fight, but he just fought him right there and then that night.

Anyway, Kickboxer was freakin the most insane movie of my childhood.. Along with Predator, Ghostbusters 1 & the Star wars's...

    Bloodsport wasn't to bad though..

There was another cool kickboxing movie where Van Damme plays the bag guy... The good guy is trained by halucinations of Bruce Lee coming back from the dead.. Can't recall the name of it..

Kickboxer is still number 1 though

It was Tong Po that film and star wars the original are probably the films I've watched most , Tong Po kicks the f**k out of a concrete post in the dressing room just before the fight.I would've legged it !

A vote for kickboxer for me !
