If you planned on making weight then maybe you #1 wouldn't be "water drained" and #2 you'd have better stamina. And also if you water drain yourself, rehydrate yourself, it's a pretty basic idea.
Also if you know you're hurt going into a fight couldn't you plan out a way to win with that in mind and impliment such a plan in the ring, if you still wanted to have the fight?
That sucks about whoever called you up, it's pretty chickenshit IMO.
