I agree.
I know this wasn't your first fight Youngblood, but I've always said that I think it's good if people lose their first fight. It's the amateurs and you really can't care about losing. You gave a more experienced boxer a really though fight, that's huge. Losing stinks, especially when you know you lost because your opponent is simply better. But giving your all in a situation where you are the definite underdog, to me, is winning. A lot of guys wouldn't even get in the ring if they weren't sure they'd win. I see that a lot and to me, they are cowards.
The higher level of opponents you face, the smaller the skill and experience gap becomes with every fight. Does that make sense? It's always better to fight people better than you. Sure, we all love winning. But to me, learning and improving trumps winning any day.
