I remember watching this fight and thinking Haye is going NOWHERE. He seemed shockingly chinny.
Not long after this Thompson duffed him up though.. which may well have been a blessing in disguise

I agree it made him relize he carnt just blast through everyone and expect them to drop then relize your fuked your self and get stopped.I think it worked well against that Italian Fraggamini (not sure on spelling) Haye had to dig deep to get him out of there.If he never lost against Thopmson i think he would of lost to Fraggamini the same way,but he seems to have learn his lesson.Originally Posted by Fenster

Yeah, I think you're right, the Fragomeni fight may well have been his first loss was it not for the Thompson experience.. had to deal with the cut too.
