I've read Oscar had difficulties dealing with southpaws... It's also a general assessment that southpaws are at an advantage over right-handed boxers since southpaws are used in fighting with right-handers while right-handers does not have the luxury of meeting southpaws on regular basis...
.
How many Southpaws has Oscar Dela Hoya actually fought except Pernell Whitaker ? because i think its hard to gauge that Oscar Dela Hoya struggles with Southpaws based on struggling against one of the best defensive fighters of all time and it was more to do with Pernell Whitaker's awkwardness rather than his Southpaw stance.
