Wheres Mick & VD now? Calderon looked on his way to schooling Cazares again!
The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be
I have to say that Cazares just lost all my respect.I can understand all his frustration hitting the air for 7 rounds, but he is a BAD looser, and that is what he is a looser... During the interview he made comments saying that Calderon not only had the favor of the fans, but also the favor of the score cards suggesting that he was robbed, and indicated that this was ashame. I am actually scratching my head thinking what fight was seeing the judge that had it so close, 67-66. Actually, during the first fight the only judge that gave the decision to Cazares was from Puerto Rico. But, he was probably watching a football game during the fight.
So I don't know why Cazares is saying that he cannot win even knocking out in Puerto Rico, the problem is that you have to do it with your punches not with your head. The only one who should be ashame is Cazares who come the day of the fight almost 5 divisions over the limit to fight a small guy and get his ass kicked for the second time. The end was unfortunate because I was hoping we could see the full action for 12 rounds. I am not sure what makes Cazares think that 3 punches and a headbutt, which was his best punch, make him deserve the decisionI am hoping that Calderon go for bigger things and forget about Cazares and unify his title. Then, he is speaking to move to 112...
Cazares if you think that Puerto Rico is treating you so unfair, you can take your plane directly to Los Mochis and stay there...But, you are forgeting all the respect that we gave you when you beat guys like Dieppa and Sanchez, you just lost mine...
Puerto Rico, Small Island, Big Champions!!!

I'm here...
I actually thought Calderon was very fortunate that the stopage came. Anyone that knows Cazares knows his best work is done late in the fight.
I saw something happen I'm not sure if it's just me but there was something about the way Calderon sat in his corner as they poured water on him and rubbed his neck. I saw very heavy breathing by Calderon and Cazares was able to hit him well when he switched southpaw.
With all that being said, a win is win and Calderon won.
Congrats to him and I think this should mark the end of this one. They both need to move onto other things.
Calderon vs. Solis and Cazares should go after Canchilla or Sosa.
