Oooooh ok, just in case that if things don't go as you expected and PAC lost you don't come up later saying that you were just being sarcastic or something.

If Pac loses he won't be saying anything because you won't see him anymore.
Heheheh! I am just saying because then you have people go "Oh, I never said that...Umh, no way, I was just being funny but I didn't really mean it...I did say that but it was long time ago..." or change their minds all of a sudden.

Ok, now we know he's not being sarcastic and is confident that PAC will come out with the victory.

    .
How many Southpaws has Oscar Dela Hoya actually fought except Pernell Whitaker ? because i think its hard to gauge that Oscar Dela Hoya struggles with Southpaws based on struggling against one of the best defensive fighters of all time and it was more to do with Pernell Whitaker's awkwardness rather than his Southpaw stance.
    Well they're talking about this...

Arum noted, "Oscar De La Hoya always has difficulty fighting speed and always has difficulty fighting a southpaw. Manny Pacquiao has both of those qualities in abundance. So Freddie Roach really believes and knows what he was talking about when he said that he likes his guy’s chances in the fight."

It's Arum who pointed it out so maybe it happened early in Oscar's career... BTW Hector Camacho a southpaw...

Most recent fights of Oscar were against right-handed boxers so Pacquiao's southpaw stance might give Oscar a different and difficult look...
    .
No way Pacquiao will have his usual speed at 147.

    .

Oh yeah, Pac is without a doubt leaving on a stretcher. 6, 9 million ain't nothing to De La Hoya. He'll just make out a check. As long as he ain't weight drained he don't care.

You're a prophet Mr. LEGION... Seriously, I'll be standing by my pick win or loss... You can have a field day bashing on me if PAC loses...

why not? he's fought at around 144-146 in his last few fights, so he can just weigh-in at around that much and come in at maybe a couple of pounds heavier. that way he wouldn't be losing any speed and be fresher by not having to drain himself at all.

I could notice a difference in Pacs speed in his last fight up at lightweight . He seemed slower and not as furious as he once was. Now he has to jump up a further two weights , which will weigh him down considerably . He gona gonna bully oscar around so speed is his only hope and if he hasnt got that then he is trouble.

It will be expected that a 147 lbs PAC will be slower than the 135 lbs version (or 130, 126, 122, etc) BUT 147 version of PAC will still be million times faster than slow, old and partially shot DelaHoya...

Pac will have to rely on speed and speed only.
i think you're forgetting the stamina factor. diaz has that which oscar don't.
Good call. I don't know why I didn't think of that...
How about Pac's stamina with 12 more pounds? How about how he lost the 1 punch power at 135 ? What about the common thread all those that won vs ODLH ( true boxing skills) Hopkins, PBF, Mosley, Trinidad ! Pac can not outbox ODLH his best option is to punch. Pac will finally be in a fight where he is not the harder puncher.

This is going to be a "Boxing clinic" put on by ODLH. No discredit to Pac it's just that all his advantages over ODLH are non existent at 147. Speed with no skill set will not help Pac. If JMM had any power Pac would have been cooked ! Now against a skilled, experienced and harder puncher he supposed to win, how ( See Cotto Fans mind set, I guess) ? I see Pac stumble all over the ring in December as ODLH exposes Pac as no more than a really great light punching lightweight.

    People forget :
    1) ODLH was the first opponent to beat Mayweather on a score card. Had he not given up on his jab vs PBF he would have won that fight. How is Pac going to avoid ODLH's jab? Pac is not a better defensive boxer than PBF!
    2) Oscar has a tendency to work his hardest in the last 30 seconds of each round which not only impress fans but the judges as well. Which creates a lunging Pac into a KO recipient with a ODLH left hook. Remember never hook with a hooker and I will bet on ODLH over Pac's anyday.
    3) Oscar hand picked this fight and has actually had the luxury of sitting in on Pac's sparring and pre-fight training.

I predict a lopsided ODLH decision or a 7th-8th round ODLH KO.

If you do not read spanish do not perpetuate the wrong information. You have ODLH on the verge of filling Azteca stadium and surpassing JC legacy. In addition the bitter / sour JC is trying to pin up his son for that slot. Living in the past as he gave ODLH the forum to shine he wants ODLH to give that forum to a fellow Mexican if he was a real man not a Pinoy! JC also feels that a Margarito vs ODLH fight could not fill Azteca only vs his son could that happen. JC goes on to say that the Mexican people would root for Pac because he is so small that ODLH is crazy for that. That he should fight a big man like his son. That despite his gold medal without a win vs JC he would not all that he has gained. To offer the same thanks and offer a fight to JC Jr. However ODLH knows that with a proper regiment that senior JC over sees JC Jr will KO him out! ODLH is scared and we would bet 5 million on JC Jr to beat him he states!

That is not the message he is focusing in on! The focal point is that the money should be given to his son. Pac is just being used as a pawn in his dialogue. I am fluent in spanish so stop copying and pasting tidbits to build up you your boy with fallacies ! No way Mexicans are rooting for Pac, Respecting Pac, yes very much so ........ Why not post JC full of shit ?
