Default Calvin Brock: will he be the next heavyweight champ? Place your opinions on him!

What do you think about Brock & does he have what it takes? I think he needs atleast two more fights, top contenders before he goes for the belts, what do you think?

I think he will be a champ...I just don't know if he will ever be THE champ...I've been impressed with Brock in his fights but he hasn't fought the best pedigree. I'd like to see him get a win over Sam peter and Briggs..if he get wins over those two I'd give him a decent shot at anyone in the HW div. Not that thats saying much.

Didn't know you were such a Brock fan. The fact that he was knocked down by McCline makes me a little reserved but the fact that he got back up and won is impressive and it renders him a factor in the division.

I like Calvin but he's boring and he's gonna get crushed if he fights a puncher though.

He's solid, and doesn't have any glaring weaknesses I see, so he can be a top contender in this division. He's not really great at anything though, just a pretty solid all around guy. I would defintly like to see him more active against top HWs even if there are almost none.... He is fighting Timor sometime, I don't even know if he is as good as his brother though

Let me say this...I like Brock...I totally disagree with Lyle...Brock brings excitement...it's the fact that he's not developed much of a persona that bothers me.

He's a good at a lot of things...but not great at one thing...& that worries me.

He can go far...but not to the end.

He'll get another strap...but if matched with Wlad...he'll get his ass handed to him.

Great guy...good for the sport...but once he steps up...he'll go down.

Nice bloke but he is too average at everything to make any real noise in the HW division, IMO. His best asset is that he is American.

The fact that he's average at everything is a HUGE plus for him because right now lots of guys are good at just one thing.

Brock could out box a slugger and out slug a boxer...hypothetically of course.

I think his lean in style ala Cliff Ettiene is going to piss off your average fan...which I was hella pissed when he fought Zuri Lawrence that way...but that was a hell of a KO!

Sure he might get a title but what will that mean? There are too many titles out there....WBA WBC IBF WBO WBU IBA ect.... Will need to beat top competition and hold at least the 2 big ones, WBA WBC to be considered a real champ....
It feels good to be back home.
