Is 39 years to old to start boxing at 140 lbs

and yet Thunder is a "Pro" . Go figure.

At some gyms, at 39 this guy would fit right in. At others, he'd fell out of place as it's all kids. I fit in beautifully at my old gym in the states as we had the full spectrum of ages, but now back home in Canada, I feel like a geezer and should hang em up as it's nothing but kids.

Way of the world,I doubt at my age,any commision would sanction me,and Ive got a backround that would say sanction me.Im just too old.

reason number two for a slight distaste for boxing...age...and usa boxing being number one...at 39 i doubt i would want to try to fight on a major card, but there should be venues for older people that wish to fight. seen some old guys that can really throw and wonder at the young kids that start crying when they get hit....i agree older fighters should be an exceoption, not the norm but to shut people out of a sport due to age is kinda bullshit...

Boxing,martial arts,and full contact sword fighting
And I doubt heavily I could get sanctioned

I doubt I'd even pass the physical,my shoulder is blown,and my knee is worse,and god save me if its one of the commisions that check your nose,because mines f-ed.
I click when I walk most days bro. Problem with putting most of your life in to whupping someones a$$, is they whup back,even if you win,you dont come out of it feeling all that good

Sometimes a boxer can win a fight, but actually gets the short end of the straw when it comes to injuries.
