I assume (because there was never any offer from floyd) you're going to say because he didn't call out Floyd which of course is silly, not as silly as you saying things like "Cotto gets rocked almost every fight" but pretty fucking silly. Cotto doesn't call people out, he didn't call out Mosley, and he didn't call out Margarito but strangely enough he ended up fighting them.

He was in a better position than either of them, when has been the better fighters job to call his opposition? Ali had to call out Frazier when he was champion, and Foreman as well. HOlmes had to call out Ali. Tarver called out Roy, etc, etc. Mayweather basically said prove yourself, make enough of a name for yourself, and I will fight you. Back in the day Mayweather fought Corrales, Castillo twice when he didn't need to. He fought Oscar when it was going make a lot of money, He made the same 8 million against Baldomir htat he would have against MArgairto, but he also got the unified WW championship. PBF beat Hatton when that fight was going tobe at its zenith in terms of popularity, and I believe that had Cotto beaten Dela Hoya, and if he does Flyod would fight him, but Cotto is still a largely unheard of name in the greater sports media. I think the MArgarito fight garnered him more fame, but he lost that fight, while Margarito is still very much anonimous.

I don't even care about Floyd's side of this, and maybe it would have been good if Cotto had called him out (not sure if it would have made a difference, anybody that buys the argument that Floyd fought Hatton cause he called him out has IQ problems) but the point is its stupid to say he was scared of fighting him cause he didn't call him out when he didn't call anybody out. If Cotto had the habit of calling out everybody, everybody but Floyd then Chino would have a point, but he doesn't.

Why are you guys fighting? Danny_g is an instigator, but Chino is saying stuff like Cotto has a bad chin when only 3 guys have hurt him, Corley, Torres(a hard hitter), and Judah(who hits hard as well).

There are more fights where he has been rocked than just those three. Let's say only 3 guys ever have rocked him, well, I find it interesting how ODLH was only KOed once and still everybody says that he'll loose a fight with a single punch to the body and it just doesn’t happen anymore. I don't doubt it can happen again, but so far it hasn't.

He didn't really get hurt by any one punch against Margarito

So either Margarito can't hit as hard as Torres, Judah, or Demarcus, or Cotto has a respectable chin, and he just quit in that fight.

Corley is not necessary a KO artist, but still, look at who Torres and Corley faced before Cotto. What happened to them is what happened to Cotto as well. They faced a champion in his prime and lost. That is what normally happens to overrated boxers. I don’t doubt Cotto will get back on his feet. He has the skills.
