if you think that was a cheap lucky ankle lock then you don't know mma. What that shows is that lesnar is clueless in the submission game and don't think he's going to learn what it takes to take on couture in less than a year. his boxing is average. Also couture has never gotten tired in his fights so i think lesnar is going to get taught a lesson

Couture by submission! I think it great that Bock wants to prove he is more than just an entertainer, but I don’t think he should be allowed to walk in and start calling out title holders until he has proven himself.

frank mirs only game is submisions so of course lesnar looked like he was going to pound him to death until the submision happened and Herring is a fish, a dead one lol. they are not on the level of Couture.

Can anyone tell me the last time Couture subbed someone besides a rear naked choke or guillitone?

just becouse couture hasn't needed to submit anyone doesn't mean he doesn't know how he's been in the game for a long long time. on the other hand I've been fighting for only 2 years and I've seen that there is more knowledge in mma than you can pick up in such a short period of time. Its rediculous that lesnar gets this fight after having only two fights.

doesn't matter. heath has been around the block and fought the best, yet lost badly. Lesnar got way over anxious against mir, and that's why he got subbed. Had he fought more controlled fight against mir, mir would have got beat badly too.

I'm telling all you fools right now, Brock will beat fedor within one year from the date of this post.

Dream on. Lesnar might beat a past prime Couture. But he would be facing an entirely different beast in Fedor. Aside from Fedor's tremendous physical strengths, he is as smart a fighter as there is. Lesnar for all of his raw physical gifts...is a blockhead.

Clever move by Dana White. The hype is out there for Lesnar so rather than wait and see if he develops into a genuine force, he's throwing him in now.

Lesnar wins he's the realdeal, if he gets beat he can comeback again.

White is cashing in now on the relatively unproven Lesnar rather than waiting.

Deep down...White knows Fedor is the best fighter in the world (with all due respect to Anderson Silva). The fact that Fedor didn't act like a punk and sell himself out to UFC...drives White that much crazier. Even if Lesnar beats Couture...any knowledgable MMA fan still knows that Fedor is the best heavyweight in the world...and no one in the UFC can lay claim to that until they face and beat Fedor. It's appropiate that Dana White is trying to make a former WWF wrestler into his star...i always thought a low class sleazebag like Dana would have been better suited owner for WWF wrestling anyways.

a longer fight will favor randy....lesnar will be very dangerous early on because of his tremendous strength....dirty boxing again will be the key..
