There are ZERO reasons why MAB & Erik should still be fighting.

The only thing I can think of, is if somehow Marco worked out some sort of partnership/promotership deal with Don. Don is getting up there in age, and maybe Marco's the man to take over when Don is done. Marco is an extremely smart guy, and could do well with the business.
I had the exact same question, why is he signing a 5 years contract at this stage of his career But, I think this is more a secure for Don (for himself) because sometimes these boxers at this stage retire and then come back several times. I believe that Don is trying to assure that if this happens Barrera will fight for him. After all he will be always attractive to the public.

My other thought is, why is Barrera coming back I believe that he should stay retired as well as Morales...

These filthy creatures are getting touchy again, but who can blame em . Pacs getting wiped out in December . . .again
I just repped you for the great clips
love this man he obviously feels he can carry on but would not like to see him get beaten down so a bit sad but i suppose we can wait and see maybe the rest rest has done him good.
Any and all MAB / EM future fights will just tarnish Pac's good work ......

Of course, just because a guy is retired doesnt mean there are arent promotional opportunities.
3 years from now when he's retired,Don will have him on Telemundo hocking Goya

I don't want to see him back even though im a big fan of the way he fights, he is not the same fighter..

On another note a washed up Morales vs a washedup Barrera might be interesting...

Barrera's legacy is already secured. Everyone knows he beat Marquez and the 2nd Pacquiao fight was a step too far at his age. He should stay retired.
