Looks like Christian Mijares-Vic Darchinyan could be set

Mijares will fight again this year in Nov. in Mexico possibly against Jose Lopez who IMO is a guy you don't want to play around with. Lopez has the experience and has been in there with some tough opponents if the fight comes through Mijares better be ready to fight the full 12 rounds cause Lopez will make him work.

So the promoters thought it'd be best for it to hold off for Jan. of '09...

Orignal date was Nov. 1 or 8.
But due to the PPV fights in and around the end of the year the new date has yet to be set but the month of Jan. is what Showtime want's...

Mijares would soundly beat well ko Vic. Huge Vic fan but Mijares is so hungry. Its going to be a good one though.

Was Mijares/ Montiel ever set? This has to happen ! I think Mijares will exploit Vic like a wanna be video star just fresh off the bus in L.A....that uppercut will be laser sighted and footwork will have Vic over reaching all night Imo.

No Mijares-Montiel was just talks/speculations...

Me thinks both sides (Mijares & Montiel) are boiling this one and are preparing it for them to serve us whilst is hot and boiling...
