Right now I'm helping my Mom move out of the house. My parents are having to split up. This is actually the 3rd time they've done it. The 1st time was about 3 years ago, and it wasn't a month until my Mom went back. The 2nd time my Mom and Dad went out on a few dates beforewards, and I actually thought they'd make it this time. But now here we are at it again.

Don't worry, me being grown and out of school, I'm not bothered by this. Fact of the business is, I'm glad they're divorcing, because I was tired of hearing their bickering and arguments. Well, gotta go move now.

If they split up as friends they will be usually ready to move on, without their baggage.
If they are still fighting as they attempt to split up they probably have unfinished business and will have another go at the whole thing at some future date.
