It seems that there are conversations for a Bautista - Lopez fight on December 06. This may be a good fight for Lopez who I believe should get another KO victory...

Puerto Rico, Small Island, Big Champions!!!
That is correct. Lopez is fighting Cesar Figueroa (30-6-2, 22 KO) on October 04 at Puerto Rico. It seems that Bautista declined an offer to fight Lopez on this date, but his managers offered to fight Lopez on December 06. It seems that if Lopez wins on October 4 there are possibilities of him fighting Bautista.

oh ok cool, never wise to look past an opponent in my opinion althou JuanMa should win his fight in october easilly, dont you think there also a little close together
That is a good point. I didn't think about how close the fights are... but still he will have 2 months between them. I guess Juanma's team should evaluate this possibility depending on how hard his October 4 fight results. I think they really want to be exposed during De La Hoya - Manny show, and I don't blame them, this certainly is a great opportunity for Juanma's career is he wins both fights.

ye your right it will get him the exposure he needs and deserves, maybe thats why his fight was moved off the pvalik/hopkins card to the 4th so he had that extra two weeks recovery ?
Bautista must be in a hurry to get ko'd again. I'll give him credit though, it takes guts to get in the ring with someone like Lopez after what happened in the DeLeon fight.
Lopez destroys Bumtista
Nice matchup. Smart moneys with JuanMa by TKO.
Talking about fighting the boxer knocked out in the first round by the boxer you knocked out in the first round...
Good choice of opponent for JuanMa...
Bautista just wasn't ready for the big time, he is still very raw and imo, never really impressive. Never seems comfortable in the ring, spaces his punches horribly he does that stupid step back before every forward step it confuses him more then his opponent I think. Plus his defense is leaky, I imagine he would get KO'd fairly early in that one, JML is on the verge of P4P rankings I think.
Rey B is still so young and has so much potential. He should really keep away from the world title scene for another good 3 years. That defeat to De Leon would have taken something away from the young lad and I do believe he might not be there yet in terms of confidence and world level expereience. Its a great shame because he really is a good fighter he should just train even harder and he will be more ready for it. Another devastating loss in the hands of Lopez will really badly affect his future career IMO.
again ill blame this on bautistas manager what a greedy mofo!
Lopez is to much for Bautista.
The wicked shall die by there own wickedness.
