I think it's just you.
I felt both fights were entertaining. Maybe you were really tired?

The first fight wasn't that good. I just don't like Rocky Juarez and watching him to do nothing. Especially when he has shown flashes of being a good, exciting fighter. I swear, when he offers his services to HBO or Showtime, he doesn't show them whole fights just highlight videos. And the referee in that one changed the whole dynamic of the fight, Barrios abandoned the left hook to the body at his corners advice and the fight fell into a fairly boring pattern until the 10th and 11th. So I can see not liking that fight, I just can't get excited for a Rocky Juarez victory and I used to be a fan of him.
The Diaz fight was excellent, Diaz put on a clinic and just took Kats to school but Katsidis stayed on his chest the whole fight and made it exciting. Although I did feel his will was a bit broken in the middle rounds and only when Diaz took the foot off the gas a bit did it get somewhat competitive, that was just in the late rounds. But it was an entertaining fight just because when you have an awesome performance and lots of punches it's always exciting. I don't see how you can call it a letdown. Maybe if Katsidis didn't fight such a dumb fight and Diaz wasn't that good then it would have been more to your standards but surely everyone can enjoy that fight even without the drama of knowing Katsidis wasn't going to win 6 rounds through.
Kellerman is growing on me as a commentator as opposed to a studio guy, he stole the words from my mouth when the 6th round came around and he compared it to Cotto-Margarito saying you knew in the 6th of Cotto-Margarito that Margarito had something for Cotto and the tide was turning where you knew Katsidis was never coming back in that one. I thought that was perfectly put.
