Well as Khan said he did lose to a great fighter and undoubtedly the biggest puncher in the whole lightweight division, if not the whole of boxing.

It's nice that he wants to face Prescott again but in all seriousness this fight was like putting Warren's golden egg laying hen into the same enclosure as a starving, rabid fox. In retrospect it was a foolish mistake to believe that a chicken could beat a fox in the first place, but if they were to put the poor chicken back in with the fox again its time to call the RSPCA imo.

I have no idea what I'm talking about.........

No he did not. Prescott is far from great. His resume is filled with nothing but bums. All he did by beating Con was add another bum to his record

domestic level and sparked out in under a minute...

and still hes talking world titles

it was sad to see him getting sparked like that but not supprising, as i think he was good for the sport in creating new fans.

but the hype machine is over and maybe it will be just what he needs to help him progress and put him where he belongs while learning.... ON THE UNDERCARD.

because lets face it hes had alot of pressure for a young kid starting his pro career thus far

    Good luck Khan

Hell no I'm a believer, Breidas Prescott is a wrecking ball, I'm just glad we in the uk got to see him before he become a superstar.

Khan was hit like no man has ever been hit, that he got up at all is a miracle, no way in hell that kid has a weak chin.

Thing is Prescott could be the biggest hitting Lightweight we don't know do we? We will know abit more when he fights world class which now he probably will.Khan was number 5 with WBC and number 2 WBO behind Guzman and rated number 8 in Ring magazine so if Prescott takes his place after saturday he will be WBO number 1 contender vs either Guzman or Campbell.

Agree the fact that he might not be headlining any more might take pressure off him and that can only be good for him - and he may just accept that thats where he should have been from the start !

Did you see the knockdowns on the video clip though - what the hell happened in the one where he gets downed as an amateur !??!

However if he is to win a world title I think his only chance is to hope that by the time his shot comes Warwick Davis is the reigning champion

There's a rumor Khan's next fight will be against Alex Arthur - on a December bill headlined by Nicky Cook. Surprising?

There has been a thread on here before that brought up the jab that staggered Khan, that would be a huge concern. Those of us stateside that saw Prescott vs. Abril, saw that Prescott's punches are in fact not the most damaging. I don't know about you, but If I was Prescott I prolly wouldn't want to fight Khan again unless there were huge amounts of cash involved, instead I would use it to try and negotiate a fight with Katsidis and move towards to the top of the division.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

...in order to have a rematch there should be a first match. Khan just leave the guy alone and move on.
