I think he gets judged by most on the basis he had the potential to be alot better than he was, rather than looking at what he actually did. Saying that I know very little about the featherweights of the past so I honestly wouldnt know hwere to place him.
at least you're honest...I remember watching Sanchez and Arguello fight and nelson and Mcguigan...The late 70's and 80's were a great time for featherweight boxing and boxing in just about every weight class lhw and down....the 80's were great for fight fans....
