Well, so much for me being so sure Mora would win

Forrest got his act together for tonight; I thought he was finished. I was wrong

I just hope JMM wins to salvage this night.

Well congrats to Vernon, but he is being an ass, in the post fight interview, I didn't care for that comment.

You know what, just like Vernon said for the first fight, he had a bad night, well Sergio had his bad night. It happens.

Sergio did not fight his fight, all the things that worked in the first fight, were not there tonight.

    But congrats to Vernon.

What did he say Diane I didn't listen to the postfight.

Did Sergio speak, what did he say?

I tried to rep you back but Saddo won't let me yet.

He was being a cocky ass, and said something like "That's the difference between a contender and a champion", and then still making excuses for the first fight.

And no, they didn't interview Sergio.

    No worries on the rep.

Forrest is so inconsistant that he's really become a pet peeve of mine in the boxing world but he's in a different class then Mora. The first fight he just plodded from the outside and fired with the jab and couldn't find a home for it so he kept just restarting and throwing that stupid jab that he wouldn't land. This fight from the beginning he was putting punches after the jab even if he didn't land it first and more importantly he got inside and actually worked rather then just doing nothing. Really, he had absolutely no business losing to Mora in the first place so I'm glad that he did get the win. Rematch of the year it was not, but whatever. It's unfortunate a rematch had to be made.

Mora at least lost with pride. I disagree about his 15 minutes of fame being over, Manfredo has lost a bunch of fights but keeps going.

Mora still has potential fights with Duddy, Lee, Manfredo again, maybe Ouma, K9, Ishe Smith, Sechew Powell etc.

It wouldn't suprise me at all if he got it on with Joel Julio in a few months either.

Plenty of opportunities to get back in the mix.

I still think against a puncher Forrest is getting laid out.

Actually since the Lacy fight, Manfredo has been pretty much unheard of. I think he beat Donny McCrary of Allan Green knockdown fame, but McCrary wasn't worth much and I think they picked a Fernando Beltran Jr. fight to broadcast over it.

I still bet he looks like crap his next fight.
