now what belt, exactly did he win to become the 'champion of the world' as they are shouting?

Well the WBA made Christian Mijares a "Super" champ.
So the "Regular" title was vacant.
Nobuo Nashiro just beat Kohei Kono for it this morning in Japan.

Arce just won the "Interim" title

Big Arce fan here but it's sickening to see this. Especially since the last thing Mijares needs is 2 people claiming a title he rightfully won.

    Mijares - Super Champ
    Nashiro - Regular Champ
    Arce - Interim Champ

    LOL!!!!!

how can you have the regular title fight and the itnerim title fight on the same day I won't even go into the 'rules' on this one... This is such politico BS that it is 'vomitous,' as my old friend emoted.

So in other words they have titles in three parts of the world now, so they can shop around for 'championship' sanctioning fees.

    mijares v arce again

    never!

that would be like having rocky juarez & humberto soto fight again...
    or mayweather v. gatti again...

what for? it was clearly a dominant win for mijares, and the same would happen again

besides, arce has been the #1 contender for the WBC, and you don't hear him calling for a rematch... (the sound of crickets in the night air...)

    That's what it is...
I mean I really can't see Nobuo Nashiro fighting Arce. I think Nashiros people know better then that. They've already let the title slip from them once I don't think they'll do that again. This time they're gonna craddle it for a while get some easy fights in Japan for Nashiro.

Arce was aiming for a rematch earlier this year but I think he's no longer interested. I mean he mentions it but I honestly think he knows he can't beat Mijares.

Plus Mijares is too busy with Vic and the potential mouthwatering matchup with Montiel.

I am sooo pissed, I wanted to watch this fight last night!!

But noooooo, fuking Ike winds had to hit my area, and I've been without power, and water, since Sunday night, and don't know when I will get it back on.

I was at my mom's last night showering & getting something to eat, and I hopped on her computer, because I was going to look for a link to watch from my moms, but sure enough, my mom only has fuking dial-up!!!

Good win for Arce, he was in need of one. Danny if you download it, please save it, so that I can get it from you please.

Here's something I never say often, thank God I'm back to work, now I can use a normal working computer.
