As much as I love Frazier, Tyson win with one because he's bigger and faster, and when two fighters with similar styles meet, if one guy is bigger and faster, he will usually win. You beat Tyson with a jab and KO punch or an iron chin and a KO punch.

I agree that Foreman would have handled him like he did Frazier, but probably not as easily. Ali and Holmes prime Holmes would have boxed circles around him. I would favor Holmes, but he would have had a punchers chance against him. Yes, Ali would really make him look silly. Watch the Quick Tillis fight and imagine what Ali's movement and power would have done to Tyson.

Tyson would be too big and strong for Rocky, I think. I would Joe Louis a 50/50 shot. Louis was smaller, but his jab, skill, and punching power would give him a shot. I also think Lennox Lewis at his best would have beat Tyson at his best.
What makes it interesting is while Tyson was the faster puncher,Frazier was the smarter fighter, and had it turns out a better chin

Im not sure Joe Frazier had a better chin he was knocked down few times against Bonavena and knocked down multiple times against Foreman, Tyson although he was weak mentality and had questionable heart did have a good chin.

Frazier was not just smarter, he was mentally tougher. He had twice the heart of Tyson...hmmmm.....maybe this fight is a pickem, too. Definately an interesting matchup the more that I think about it.

Thats why when I looked at it,I couldnt make a decisive pick.If Frazier could take Tysons power early,he'd out think him down the stretch. Its the most interesting of the match ups,Brains vs Brawn

Frazier wouldnt outsmart anyone, he was just very consistent, just rumbling forward the whole time, Mike had the same power late on in fights and was hard to hit as Larry said, he also took a good shot if he did get hit.

Frazier on the other hand was relatively easy to hit and did get hurt a few times, Mike would stop him in the first 4 rounds.

If you cant get out of the way of Foremans wide swinging punches your not gonna last long with Mike

Tyson was just mentally weak thats his downfall he like France things get tough he throws his hands up in defeat. Just watch the Holyfeild fight he broke Tyson down because Tyson found out he could not bully Holyfeild and then he went in to a shell so to speak i guess you could say.

Foreman threw punches from underneath which was bad style match up for Joe Frazier's Bob an Weave style, Frazier was normally good at avoiding punches in his prime thats why he was able to get underneath quite alot Ali's punches who is very quick, and even Ali stated it was hard to hit Frazier at times. But Ali rarely threw uppercuts or punches from underneath thats why he was nowhere as effective as Foreman. And thats exactly why Mike Tyson would lose to Foreman and thats why he avoided him
