Calzaghe: If i win and Pavlik win i may be tempted.

Due to Pavliks style he has virtually zero chance against Calzaghe. I too agree Roy will be a tougher fight, guys that plow foward to Calzaghe have no chance and run the risk of really taking a career hurting beating.

You keep saying this but your wrong Robin Reid fought on the backfoot against Calzaghe, and was getting beat until he decided to come forward and take the fight to Calzaghe. Thats when the fight turned around now if Robin Reid can have success coming forward against Calzaghe, then im sure Pavlik can against an older version of Calzaghe.

Calzaghe is a far better fighter now. That was the last time he had any trouble with a guy coming at him and that was 10yrs ago.

I know Joe will school Pavlik and i for one pray he has one more fight left in his after Jones.

I wouldn't say Calzaghe is a better fighter, he is a smarter fighter but alot of his attributes have declined since then. His combo's aren't as good, his power has completely gone, and his speed has declined plus his age. Infact i think Calzaghe is a fighter on the downslide IMO, and one last thing Sakio Bika also gave Calzaghe trouble and he come forward.
