Since he lives in Texas, he could have lost power, and had issues because of Ike.
I live up in fricken Ohio, and just got hit with winds from Ike Sunday night, and lost power for 2 days, because of it.

OK yes I did watch too many Stargate episodes!!
He is probably fine and lost his internet I bet. The internet it seems goes down first and is the last thing to get repaired during storms.

Im in Ontario (by Buffalo Ny and Niagara Falls), and we got a serious wind and rain storm all night Sunday.
Hopefully everything is allright.
