Hopkins interview on fighting Pavlik.

I can give you some vids of Pavlik almost taking a guys head off with one clean flush shot. If he lands flush and hards he has better one punch knockout power than any one at 160.

The fight will be at 170 which i see having an effect on Pavliks punching power.

His jab is better than winky's because he pretty much almost knocked Zertuche out with it.

His jab is better than Wright's because he almost knocked out Zertuche with it...... And last i heard Zertuche was a top middleweight.

Pavliks jab is more powerful but Wrights jab is more accurate.

before he put him to sleep WITH ONE PUNCH that was the strait right hand. The upper cut was just for show.

He put him to sleep after 7 rounds of battering him with 1-2 combos.

Not what i would call a one punch KO puncher.

To me Joe's speed is overrated. Taylor looks faster and has more power. Joe looked slow.

Even if you think his speed is overated he is clearly faster with his hands and his footwork than Pavlik.

I felt in the second fight with Taylor the jabbing between the two was even, Taylor would have rounds that he would be controlling with his jab and the same with Pavlik. I can't really remember Taylor outjabbing Wright, i will have to watch that fight again. The problem Pavlik will have is that Hopkins won't get in range to let Pavlik use his jab, he did to both Taylor and Wright who both have faster jabs, there best weapons were never to be seen in their fights with Hopkins.

The reason i feel Pavliks power will not carry to 170 is due to his second fight with Taylor where the fight was at 166 and Pavlik couldn't finish him. I will admit Taylor fought a smarter more defensive fight but in reality Hopkins always fights a smart defensive fight, hopkins is alot harder to hit than Taylor and even though Taylor is way younger Hopkins is faster on his feet.
