OK yes I did watch too many Stargate episodes!!

He is probably fine and lost his internet I bet. The internet it seems goes down first and is the last thing to get repaired during storms.
I'd put money on Ike having an impact even that far north of the State.Those huge monsters effect an entire State in one way or another for quite some time.I'm sure dudes alright though.
