How was Kelly Pavlik a BIG name in mid 2006; at 160 or much less 168? No one even took notice of Pavlik until he blitzed Miranda out, then Taylor. LMAO; talk about contradicting yourself

With that said; I think Joe beats Pavlik. Taylor gave Pavlik some trouble in their second fight by boxing smarter; and Joe moves better and mixes his punches up better; and doesn't gas out like Taylor does. Pavlik IMO is most dangerous once he gets you tired and backing more to the ropes; Joe won't get caught there. And I think Joe's chin is better than many believe. But if Joe thinks his slappy punches will hurt Pavlik he's delusional. He'll win a decision at best.

Pavlik chin is pretty good, even though Taylor put him down and had hurt for almost the rest of the round (R2 of the first fight) he showed alot of heart and determination in not going down again and going on to win the fight. Even though at the time Taylor's five of his last six fights before Pavlik went the distance, to be fair in three of those fights he fought skilled defensive fights in Hopkins twice and Wright. Ouma showed to have a very good chin and Taylor fought a really bad fight against Spinks, but in my opinion Taylor has good power and it's very underated.

this guy is so right not to be on his nuts or nothin but he is right pavlik is already a linear champ fightin top p4p fighters and joe didnt fight any of them until hopkins fought him and some people still think hopkins won the fight. so after joe retires his legacy wont be shit because of declining a pavlik fight, and taking on an old roy jones who is past his prime. so im pretty sure the only thing good about joes legacy is that he will probably retire with a 0 for losses. while im pretty sure pavlik will line up way better fights in the future win or lose

facts mate facts.. Joe fought Eubank if im not mistaken last quarter of 97 (he is on the decline and not a prime version).. that makes Joe past 25 year old... For Pavlik, man he beat the man who beat the man of the division... Taylor beat Hopkins twice.. and mind you he beat a 3 years younger version of Hopkins (than the time Joe beat Hopkins)..
