Chapman?!?!?! Are you FUCKING kidding me?!?!?! Do you think JD Chapman is a worthy opponent? David Haye is supposed to be a title contender already and he's going to test his metal vs a guy who's last fight was vs Rich Boruff?!?!?!

If Haye fights Chapman then he's going to be as big of a joke as Amir Kahn

    This is getting daft

Haye is a big draw and apart from a tittle shot has to be one of the biggest pay-days out there for fringe contenders not to mention more TV coverage than most could hope for.

This is a dream scenario for any promoter How the fuck can you not have signed a top 10 HW and have a solid backup in 10 f**king months

Do you think if Maloney was to promote Haye

He would pull the old union jack suit out

he would have to update it with the Turkish republic of Cyprus flag or whatever Haye wears on this shorts now

    hahaha class whistle that
I think people should get off Hayes back a bit really and judge him after he's actually fought
Already the hate brigade has come out the woodwork (Prob still bitter that we had the best Heavyweight of recent times in Lennox or maybe the thread title upsets them) and can't wait for Haye to fall at the fist hurdle....
I can see it now..."told ya so etc"
Let's let him fight a few eh people then we can judge him

The reason everyone is pissed off is because he is so transparent, bullshitting about how all these fighters are scared of him and trying to get a straight shot at Klitschko because he thinks he can blitz him like Sanders did but he dont want to risk his chin against any other worthwhile heavys.

Getting a straight shot aint so bad but its all the other bullshit, you can see straight through him that hes the one4 whos scared to face any decent heavys in case he falls flat.

Like someone has already said, hes had since the Macaranelli fight to sort an opponent but he didnt want to give any decent fighters that much notice to get ready and now hes doing it the cheap way by trying to get them on relatively short notice, he will end up with Sprott or Skelton, maybe even Williams, which in it self wouldnt be a bad start at heavy but not when youve gobbed off about a top contender from the top 10, that just aint gonna happen and thats where the annoyance comes from.

It's not a hate brigade. It is just that many are getting tired of the hype brigade. If you talk the talk, you damn well better be prepared to walk it also. Haye is busy trying to mislead and take shortcuts. He really needs to step up, offer a true contender (like he promised) a fight all the while offering them a payday that they are used to and expect. it is not rocket science.

If he is so up on himself he should have no problem putting money on the table.

He just needs to shut up and fight. I've only seen the guy fight once. I am not on his back, just tired of hearing about how all the heavyweights are scared of him. That's a joke and any real boxing fan knows it. Haye hasn't done anything for heavyweights to be afraid of yet. Hell the cruisers aren't all afraid of him. He's cheapened his own image with trash talk. It's ok to be loud, but at least make sense.

He's being judged on the only thing he's put up so far.......talk. That's his own problem for running his mouth, he's only offered one thing to be judged on.

Geezus... Yeah cuz Americans don't know our Heavywieghts suck. Football and Basketball in the states ruined any HW crop that could have come up.

Why would we be bitter that you had the best HW of recent times? That statment is rediculous. Wow, yeah, I'm pissed I'm also pissed at the Ukraine for having Wlad. I bet that the UK is bitter we've dominated the MW div for so long You guys could care less as could we...

Sure the US would like some decent HW blood but we just don't have it... They're to busy making Millions per year catching a ball.

As for your statement that we're waiting to see Haye stumble... You're damn straight! It has nothing to do with being bitter but he's all mouth... I want Wlad! I'm gonna find him in a mall and talk shit... Wlad laughed at him. Now he's dropping fights with 3rd tier comp so he doesn't get KOd on his first outing cuz that would be......... unfortunate

I agree with him taking C or B level comp to begin with to test the waters but don't call yourself the best HW out there and look for C level guys... Shut your friggin mouth... Take a few gimmes at HW and when you crack the top 5 then open it.

I'd be the first "I told you so" you'd hear.

If he kept his mouth on lock he'd be fine... Promote the fight once it's signed, moron not before... You're not PBF who comanded the sport.

The hate brigade is one he set up... with his mouth.

I can't wait to see him get KOd by Jameel McCline or somebody... I'll laugh my ass off
