Also, on the fear subject. If my memory serves me, I believe it was Hatton that was taking the fight to Collazo from round 1 to the final bell. In fact, when Collazo stunned Ricky in the 12th round Ricky still came forward and within 20-30 seconds he was in control of the round yet again.
If Ricky agreed to give Collazo a rematch would he have to face Urkal as the mandatory challenger before it could happen? If so and Ricky vacated, would Collazo want a rematch with nothing but pride at stake?

And Clydey your arguements are much the sameagain.
The key factor is how long Hatton has left. His style means he will probably be shot at some point in his early thirties so he needs Mayweather, Cotto, Castillo etc quick. He cant fwock about giving rematches to anyone that wants them. Just because its a close decision, why does Collazo need a rematch. Should every fight have to be a complete and utter blow out for it to not be disputed. I swear some people on these forums just take the minority view and argue it to the death for fun. In my few months on the forum, Ive only seen one big fight where everyone was agreed on the winner and that was Calzaghe Lacy. Sometimes people you just have to stop think and let common sense take control

Collazo is old news, Hatton has nothing to prove against him other than whether he can deal with a southpaw a bit better....He won the fight, let him move on and give us another thriller like the Tszyu fight.
