Not sure whether I like Froch or not, but I def think he deserves his chance !

If hanging around until someone feels sorry enough to let you fight for a title means he desrves it the fair play.

Who has Froch beaten that is ranked high in the WBC rankings to earn this shot?

Froch should thank his lucky stars that he has hoodwinked Tam Seddon in to believing hes a top fighter because no one else would be bringing his name up, or this fight, giving him any sort of recognition.

Who in the WBC rankings deserves a shot more than Froch ?

He may not of fought anyone ranked for the shot but he has at least been looking for names. He called out Taylor for the shot and Taylor ducked him. How is he meant to prove himself if he doesn't get given the chance. Personally i don't think he's all that but you should at least give him a chance.

Taylor might be a former middleweight but he is a big middleweight and put on a very good performance in his last fight, not only that but Taylor is ranked in the top 5 of the WBC rankings.

Pavlik will be a super middleweight in a year or two.

He has no wins at supermiddleweight but as i said his performance against Pavlik the second time at 166 was a good performance even though he lost. Taylor would be a good test for Froch.

Taylor even having 2 losses in his last 2 fights and being knocked out would be absolutely head and shoulders above anyone that Carl has faced so far and there is the joke, how has he earned this shot?

He hasnt earned it at all, he keeps talking about Calzaghe much like Haye keeps talking about Wladamir Klitschko and this is how both have gained notoriety, Froch moreso as Haye has actually fought and beat world class fighters.

I havent seen much of Pascal and Froch may beat him but what does it prove?

Pascal is in the same position as Froch, almost the same amount of fights against no one of any consequence, the only difference being that Pascall has done it over 3 years and not 6

Regardless of what skills I may have missed from Froch, I think his age may hurt him, ok hes not had ANY hard fights but to wait till your 31 to face your first live opponent is a risk in itself.

His gullible supporters keep telling us that his reflexes are awesome, well ive seen him caught by alot of shots, including that windmill right hand from a sadly old Reid, if he cant avoide punches from old, retired, beat up, never was's then hes gonna have a shock when he steps in with someone who ive noticed is sharp and quick.

Pascal may not have alot of power but I saw he is quite snappy, with Carls slowing reflexes and never having had to learn to avoid anything dangerous, I can see Pascal peppering Froch and keeping a distance (because he may have read Tams assesments on Frochs awesome power) to a decision.

The other thing is, Pascal has boxed 67 rounds in 6 fights since the beggining of 07 compared to frochs 11 rounds in 3 fights, ok he may have the higher ko percentage but against who??

Pascal will do the distance easy, Froch will struggle.

Sorry Tam, i like Froch but i also like Pascal. I think that if Pascal can keep from getting hit with a solid shot he wil probably win by desicion. its a very interesting matchup. but since i have nothing to win or loose on this fight well........good luck.
