I really miss the ushers at cinemas these days...i went with the missus and her skids to see that Wall=e (US Brainwashing bullshit) at the Equinix in Leicester square and the food is a f*cking joke for prices
Hot dog,nachos,popcorn and a drink around £15
When i was a kid my mum used to take us to the saturday morning "flicks" where you had "Butterkiss is now available in the foyer" adverts
"hey Jester..have you any nuts" adverts and a female usher with a box hanging off her with cornettos etc and she'd show you too your seat by torchlight.
They always used to show some weird animal film for 15/20 mins before the film started too,usually an Eagle flying around a canyon or some shit similar.

Is anyone fucking landed with the news that Tekken, Dragonball and fucking thundercats movies are all being made

Was looking at the Tekken cast and it looks pretty good, hopefully they wont butcher the fucking film like streetfighter and mortal combat!

And thundercats and dragonball! i guess if you aint seen the cartoons when u was a kid then they wont seem childish to you, but if you followed them, this rocks

Tekken having the guy who played Shang Tsung from Mortal Kombat as Heihachi Mishima boggles my mind!! How could they do that when that Japanese guy from The Last Samurai and Batman Begins is out there. That was a no brainer IMO!

Dragon Ball is going to be a joke! I am probably one of the biggest Dragon Ball Z/GT fans out there (If you guys saw my dvd collection, you would think i was 12 years old) and I don't know how they're going to pull this one off... Hope they prove me wrong...

I guess I could add to this...

-Transformers 2 is already filmed or almost done filming.
-Voltron is also in pre-production.
-Metal Gear Solid the Movie is in production with Christian Bale playing Solid Snake.

I didn't think it'd be possible to really make a real life movie of DBZ until I saw Matrix Revolutions, where Neo and Smith have a very DBZish fight at the end.

I said the same thing until I saw the 3rd Matrix movie (as I just mentioned in my above post), but then again they just may pull it off. I'll definitely be going to see it in theatres (and I don't go to the movies much).
