Thanx for the CC's guys, and now I feel that I have got it off my chest and that I wasn't just imagining thingsOriginally Posted by skel1983
PS-I meant the band wagon full of people waiting for an opportunity to tear down Hatton. Don't mind people slateing fighters for their lifestyle and personality outside the ring (personally I think its the fighters own prob) but I never question any boxers true bravery about stepping in the ring!
my theory is Collazo has a big family... they were all let in at the post fight conference by don kingOriginally Posted by skel1983
and acted like total dicks shouting and screaming by all accounts.
classless muppets
fact still remains Ricky Hatton 3 fight 3 champions beat 2 weight world champ and noooo amout of crying will change that![]()
Hatton won the fight on judges score cards, but he didn't win the fight. Collazo made him look really bad. hatton hardly landed a punch. And i like Hatton's fighting style. He just sucked badly in this fight. If i were Hatton, I wouldn't give Collazo a rematch. Collazo would kick his ass for a second time.
dont talk rubbish... what you people who are crying for the rematch seem to be forgetting is a 7 week prepared hatton won a close decision a fully prepared strong Hatton would do Collazo in good and properOriginally Posted by sexydarin
IMO Hatton shouldn't waste his time... to prove something that anyone with alittle common sence would see as a landslide victory for Hatton![]()
If there was a rematch look at the facts. Is there really anyway that Collazo could improve on his performance in the first fight. I think he did really well, and has now become a name in the division. It could well be that a few years down the line, this Hatton fight could be looked at in a different light. If there was a re-match, then only Hatton could really improve. As everyone and their dog is pointing out, Hatton did under perform, and even then it was a close fight that could have gone either way.Originally Posted by sexydarin
I think a rematch with Hatton would do him more harm than good right now. If he gets the rematch, and then gets comprehensively beaten, as most expected him to be this time, then he has undone all his good work.
Don't forget, in a rematch he no longer has surprise on his side!!!!
