I actually think Marquez matches up with Hatton better than Pacquiao does. There's always been talk for Hatton vs Pacquiao but no one ever said Hatton vs Marquez.

Marquez' boxing skills could make Hatton look just as bad as Mayweather did. I don't see Marquez knocking him out but definitely a clear UD. Pacquiao and Hatton would just be more exciting due to their styles. As long as Marquez doesn't get caught, he would really do a number on Hatton.

Hatton would be to strong and to physical for Marques. Hatton would be on his chest bulling around the ring and i think its a fight that would age Marques.

Yea would be a great fight, Id probably slightly favour Hatton just due to being the bigger stronger guy, but then again watching him against Lazcano you have to wonder whether Marquez would have any trouble landing big. Im thinking not much, it would be a real grueling fight imo.

cheers guys, im thinking its going to make sense the fight because both of them have a big name and for Hatton there are no other really big names at 140. Hatton will beat PM and I think a JMM or PAC match up is a lot better than anybody at 147 or 140.

It may very well be. Marquez is now a three-division champ and I would really pull for him to get a 4th. I like Marquez and do think he sits under the shadow of Morales and Barrera and getting that 4th world championship will completely get rid of that shadow considering Morales and Barrera couldn't get past 3.
