Can somebody explain what has happend to Jorge Linares?

Hes been inactive for over a year and hes 23 and the world champion and after that stunning victory over Larios I would have thought he would be mixing it up with the best. But he hasnt had a fight, what happened to him ?

He knocked out Gamaliel Diaz after the Larios fight but it has been a while since he's fought. Apparently he's had some injury problems. He's also moved up to 130

Seems to be quite injury prone,Really a shame as he sits in limbo.Love to see him pull it together real soon.Ton's of talent going by the wayside.Not sure of the specific injuries but they appear repetative....Shoulders ??Not sure.

Craziness is The ever astute and big hearted WBC .The last I heard they stripped Linare's......oh my mistake.....Linares vacated the title.They actually stepped in and implanted Oscar Larios as WBC Champion.The same Larios that suffered a subdural hematoma in a brutal TKO loss to Linares. Hard nose Larios has sense been on medical suspension in the States & has had a few fights in Mexico.He needs to be watched big time....Larios and defense have never frequented the same ring and I hope he does not get hurt.

Simply put.
Injuries.

1st it was his ankle, then his shoulder.

I mentioned it several times that for I've casted a big question mark over him. I don't care how well he looked vs. Larios.
Injuries are injuries and some can be career crushing injuries.

Will he be the same Linares with a bad ankle and shoulder?

Were gonna have to wait and see.
