Kind of like me when I thought my New England Patriots could go over 21 game undefeated... I forgot what it was like to lose.

You're pitting your aging champ(who has fought with great merit) against a young champion who can keep his foot on the peddle for as long as Joe can... You're talking like he's already won and talking like an asshole at that...

Smashup... I'm fans of fighters but I don't grab onto their nuts like they spew milk... chill out and open your eyes and talk about HOW he'd beat Pavlik and not that it would just happen...

There is no leader here we all have our own opinions i don't care who it is if i disagree with someone, i'll debate with them no matter who it is. Most of Joe Calzaghe's best wins were on the downslide IMO, no one is doubting Joe Calzaghe is a class fighter but his record has some question marks for certain............

But he is also on the downslide IMO he isn't as fast, nor is his combination's as effective, plus his power has totally gone. I think Kelly Pavlik has a great chance against Joe Calzaghe, he is much more proven at world class level than Jeff Lacy was, who was struggling with mediocre fighters even before Joe Calzaghe fight.

Agreed amd SERIOUSLY... I like Joe and as much as I hate his style... It's effective. Joes best wins ARE on the downslide od his career.

Pav Calzag would be a great bout. I think that either has a chance... I've given oppinions in other threads but in the grand scheme it's a pick em fight.

I've edited posts - mostly for comic effect if someone is being a self important tool. Much more fun than getting in to a fight.
