Smash has more than earned his oppurtunity and most importantly is a loyal member here and is a writer as well, he was a UK mod for a while and now he is full blown.. Also Smash WAS known to be on Raucous side when I joined but he has toned it down quite a bit... I for one like the choice because at least he knows from experience how people can get out of hand and may be able to see clearly action and counsel to take along with reasoning with the member instead of taking the high ground and get all bent out of shape and acting high and mighty.

Also I guess its tough for the USA crowd to fully know the impact he has on the whole site since he is from the UK and they might not know his work

The real question is, who is this other "yankee" moderator that has been asked to come aboard. To be fair, Saddo gaves us one very moderate mod. in Fenster, and then one slightly obnoxious one in Smashup.

I would consider BG to be a moderate mod as well. To balance the powers? Who are we getting?
