Default In what country are the worse mismatches made?

Over the past several years, I have made a careful study on this and have an opinion (and its only an opinion) which I will hold back for now, Suffice it to say that I believe the best matches are made in Japan and in Mexicio. And Mexico comes as a surprise to many, but the numbers truly back it up. Japan does a magificent job.

What do you think? I value your opinions on this as I plan to include a chapter on this subject in a book I am writing.

I guess it depends if you mean high end fights or low end ones
With Warren holding sway,Briain is home to constant mismatches in title fights
But in lower to mid level, the States are rife with mismatches,Britain seems to do a better job matching their up and commers and club fighters

I disagree with Japan, I think they along with Thailand are the worst.

Thailand... Men are brought in like sides of beef to be cannon fodder for a hometown fighter. Many deaths occure due to this.

Cut, I have studied Japan for years and watched fights in Japan live. They get it right (IMO) MORE THAN ANY COUNTRY. Check out the results on BOXREC and see if you don't agree. Raeely do they have a fighter with a strong record fight one with a poor record. Trust me on this, mate.

This page is representative of my above point re Japan. It also reveals some terrible mismatches in Thailand.

I have no real knowledge of this, but if you check the schedule currently on boxrec for Japan, two of the first three fights to come up have mismatch all over them.

Yasutaka Kuroki (18-3) v Wattana Ponnak (debut)
    Yoshinori Kowatari (7-1) v Viratnoi Sithsoei (0-1)

And those two victims there both being shipped over from Thailand. That being said, I can't see that many records on the schedule that look like a journeyman loser's record like, for example, Tony Booth's in the UK.

Gota agree Australia is pretty bad. I think it is largely because there are so few pro fighters in Australia, and because we are so far away from most other countries.
