It pisses me off, how can anyone see that at as an easy win for Mosely.

It was in the balance going into the last round imo.

How was that close fight Margay was not hitting anything miss so many shots it was not even funney. Shane won that fight hands down with or with out the knock out hate the huging fuck Margay complains to much and he was dry humping Shane he won with out the knock out it was just icing on the cake.

No offense but anyone who had Mayorga winning this fight is crazy IMO, Mayorga was missing majority of his punches, where as Mosley was landing effective clean punches. The fight was close at one point but Mosley pulled away in the later rounds, to have a comfortable lead going into the 12th round.

Totally disagree buddy. Mayorga was thowing alot more shots and at times Shane was barely doing any work. You could tell by his facial expression he didn't think he was winning it. It was close, but I thought Mayorga was ahead. The finish was beautiful, but if I were Shane I'd be questioning how long I had left because apart from the finish, he looked poor to me tonight.

I agree that some rounds Shane Mosley totally went to sleep, but he started to up his work in the later rounds. I think Mayorga fooled you mate with his wild flurries, none of those punches were landing. Where as Shane Mosley was landing nice crisp counter shots. I think Mosley did perform poor at times but Mayorga has an awkward style so it turned into messy fight at times.

It was a very close fight. As to Mayorga missing punches he caught Mosely flush several times, the HBO team just refused to even comment when he landed.

One of the most biased telecasts I've ever seen imo.

I have no problem with Mosely winning had it needed to go to the cards, but no way did he win that by more than a couple rounds.

He seemed to gas from the 7th to the 9th rounds and it was close over the final rounds until Mayorga got KO'd at the end.

Mayorga won the first 2 as well imo.

You could make a case for Mayorga being ahead imo, it was one of those fights that could have gone either way.

Mosely clearly landed the crisper punches over the course of the fight but its scored on a rbr basis and there were many rounds where Shane did nothing.

I'm interested to hear how the official judges, who didn't have the benefit of the HBO commentary scored it.

Well Bilbo i couldn't disagree more mate even though Mosley went to sleep at times.

Mayorga himself wasn't doing a whole lot with his 1 punch and grab style. Mayorga actually was missing a ton of punches.

I think you guys need to rewatch the fight Mosley was catching Mayorga coming in all the time. And Mayorga would try and fight back, but his wild punches and wild flurries were missing constantly.

I think Mayorga did make it competitive no question he made it a very physical fight. But his connect percentage was very low, and i think he was trying to fool the judges with his wild flurries/punches, which were actually ineffective.

And by the replies we have got here it looks like he has also fooled few of you on here aswell. I suggest you watch the fight again guys, no way possible was Mayorga ahead in that fight.

I can't really disagree with that. I'm well pissed off because I like Mayorga and it really seemed he had a chance to pull it off. Mosley looked old and not with the program for far too many rounds.

It was ugly but it was working for Mayorga and too frequently Mosley looked at a loss with how to deal with it.

I watched it with Korean commentary and so wasnt influenced by commentary bias and had no access to any punch stats. It was unboubtably neck and neck going into that last round.

Right,I dont think we can over look that.He really brought some physicality into it with rushes and shoulders. He is very crude and awkward and was just as effective with his body as his fists in some spots.

Mosley had him zeroed otherwise past the midway mark.

that was awesome. even some of my kids who dont normally watch the fights were watching the later rounds. For Shane to KO a guy 10lbs heavier is great. Go the old guys - hes about the same age as me.
