What the hell happened? How did Alabama win? I watched 0 football yesterday unfortunately except for glimpses of the Alabama-Georgia game at work and everytime I looked at it seemed that Alabama was driving.

USC's rankin at this point is fairly irrelevant because all they have to do is not have another gaff and they will be right back in the title picture no matter where they fall to now.

I mean we have destroyed everybody. Alabama has not trailed yet. Not a second. They've only been tied for like 26 minutes and I think all but a tiny bit of that was just 0-0 ties at the start of a game.

41-30 doesn't do justice to it really.

Still not totally sure about Penn State but they're pretty good. How long has that Derrick Williams guy been playing for them? He's like the opposite of a Chinese female gymnast.

Colt McCoy is great. He's my favorite non-Alabama player.

He's a Senior,he was a major recruit who never quite got it all together until this year

Yeah I picked Derrick Williams to lead them to a Big 10 title every year since his freshman year. They had the 1 and 2 overall rated guys of that class, the other was a corner, who?

I remember it was on the heels of all this Paterono needs to be fired talk, he went out and got Williams and then Williams convinced his best friend and number 2 rated prospect to go with him to Penn State yet I've never remembered the name. That might be him.

I think the next season they got that 10 win season with Michael Robinson at the helm. I never figured out who that guy was that might be him though I probably wouldn't recognize the name if I heard it.

I like Mel Kiper but WTF is he on about saying USC should be number 1. I guess its a "they have the most first round draft picks so there obviously the best team" type of thing. But that's ridiculous, there would be no need to play the games if that's how it worked. Just scout the teams at summer practice, see who has the most "talent" and call them the N champs. They lost to stanford, etc. but hey they look real athletic.

Anyways, an actual Alabama fan came in to eat today, he said he was in town to watch a high school football game? Not Alabama fan, a guy from Alabama. I said good time to be a tide fan, he said son I've been wearing this hat for 40 years it's going to take a lot more then beating Clemson to get me excited. I wanted to say, uhh, you beat Georgia too you know? But I didn't.

we have a horrible fan base, neurotic, constantly think the national media is after us, etc. I check out an Alabama fan board every once in a while, its pure comedy.
