Often Hopkins was his own worst enemy in making the right management decisions.He was stubborn, borderline arrogant often.I believe even more so after his dealings with Butch Lewis.His unwillingness/refusal to go division jumping through majority of career had him ruling a depth less division.Holmes,Joppy,Echols,Allen, not exactly awe inspiring but he beat them up.He may not warrant the notoriety for a star studded resume of opponents but IMo that does not equate to him being winless against past greats.At middle I think he beats Hearns & Duran and is even money with Hagler & Leonard.Give me Hopkins/Toney at all time peaks at middleweight.....![]()
