That looked rather robotic to be honest. Why the square stance btw?

There are two basic training stances in the martial arts,horse and cat.Horse isnt really a fighting stance as its a training stance used to teach you how to get your knees under your shoulders,the fighting stance is cat,which is achieved by taking your rear foot back in a half moon.
And its a rote repetition drill to teach the blocking system,in a series of hard blocks,so of course it will look slightly robotic
